This original artwork is painted in watercolor on a panel prepared with an acid-free painting ground based on clay. This surface has been developed and prepared with care by the artist, and is based on a recipe for an archival painting surface that has been used by artists over centuries. The panel itself is a 20cm wide by 20cm high aluminum board, covered with 3 layers of acid-free gesso, before being primed with the clay ground. The watercolor painting exists of multiple layers and washes, to build up color and depth. The final painting is coated with a matte archival varnish.

The finished panel can be hung or displayed unframed, though customers may like to have it framed themselves to enhance its appearance. Since the painting has been varnished, a glass frame is not necessary. Hanging or framing the work without glass will reinforce its unique texture and vibrant colors.

The artwork is signed by the artist and wrapped carefully for shipment around the world to ensure safe arrival.
